my most favorite flower in the world

....

....

Mischievous nymphs were said to hide in the petals of the Peony thus causing this magnificent flower to be given the meaning of Shame or Bashfulness in the Language of Flowers. It was named after Pæon, a physician to the gods, who obtained the plant on Mount Olympus from the mother of Apollo.

ooh la la..

A dear friend of mine is about to have her 2ND baby.

I've been wanting to take a beginners quilting class but time and finances didn't make this possible. So, I thought I'd give it a whirl, teach myself as I go. Surprisingly, I also found helpful footage on youtube.
I must say I'm really happy how it turned out!
